Sign in with Google as the parent, then add a child profile for each of your children with their first name, age and reading level. Assign a plan, and give each child their Kid Code.

Profiles run from age 3 to 18. Age and reading level together decide how much a child reads and how a lesson is worded, so a pre-reader and a teenager get quite different experiences from the same plan. See Curriculum Approach.

No, and they cannot have one. A child signs in with your email address plus their own private Kid Code. Children have no email address, username or password with us at all — see Parent & Child Accounts.

Yes, for iPad and phone, alongside the web app. Your family’s profiles, avatars and progress are the same in both — it is one account.

Choose a plan or lesson, read its Bible passage together, and use the context, questions, and everyday application to begin a conversation. Let everyone respond, then turn what you noticed into praise, confession, thanks, and specific prayer. You do not need to complete every activity in one sitting.

Gather around the same passage and let each child participate at their level. Younger children can retell or answer one simple question; older children can explain doctrine, make connections, or lead part of the prayer. Their individual profiles can still carry age-appropriate work between family times.

No. Little Bereans is a flexible tool for parents, not a substitute for your leadership, your church, or prayer in your own words. Use as much or as little of a plan as helps your family open Scripture, talk faithfully, and pray together.

It is the private code that opens one child’s learning space, used together with your email address. If you think someone else has it, change it from the child’s profile in the dashboard. The old code stops working straight away.

No. A child can change their display name and their avatar, and nothing else. Name, age, boy or girl, reading level, assignments and every parent setting are yours alone, and this is enforced on our servers rather than just hidden in the interface.

Not yet as separate logins — for now, share the sign-in. Proper second-parent access is something we are working on, and it helps us to know you want it.

No. Each child sees only their own space.

No. There is no chat, no comments, no messaging and no other users — not as a setting you have to switch on, but because none of it exists in the product. See Safety & Parental Controls.

None, and there never will be. There is no advertising code, no analytics and no tracking anywhere in the product.

Yes — every answer and piece of written work appears in your parent dashboard.

Every new family has 14 days of everything free from the day they sign up, with no card. After that, the first lesson of every plan and the Bible reader stay free. The family plan opens every lesson for every child in your household: $8.99 a month or $59.99 a year. See Pricing and the full Subscription & Billing terms.

Go to Account → Manage billing in your dashboard, or use the link in any billing email. Cancelling keeps the family plan until the end of the period you paid for.

No. The family plan is bought on littlebereans.org, and it unlocks the mobile apps automatically when you sign in.

We only charge through Stripe checkout on littlebereans.org, and charges appear as LITTLEBEREANS. Anything else did not come from us — forward it to our contact form.

We publish our doctrinal convictions in full at What We Believe, because you should be able to check before handing us your child’s discipleship.

The standard licence covers your own household. For a group, write to our contact form and we will sort out the right arrangement.
