Little Bereans is named for the believers in Acts 17 who “received the word with all eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so.” That is the habit we want to build in children: not merely to be told what is true, but to go and look.
Most children’s Bible apps fall into one of two shapes. Some are entertainment with a verse attached — bright, loud, and thin. Others are worksheets on a screen: faithful, but joyless, and quietly assuming a child reads well already.
We wanted something else. A tool where the Bible text comes first, where doctrine is handled with conviction rather than avoided, and where the whole thing is still a delight for a seven-year-old to open. Serious about Scripture, and genuinely made for children.
Parents who want to disciple their own children and would like help with the structure. It suits families who are already reading the Bible together and want something more ordered, and families who want to start but do not know where to begin.
Plans can be used by a child independently or opened together as a guide for regular family devotions, biblical conversation, and age-appropriate questions around the same passage.
It is built for ages three to eighteen, which is a wide span, so each child profile carries an age and a reading level and the material follows them as they grow.
Our doctrinal commitments are set out in full in What We Believe.
We read everything sent to our contact form. If you are a parent using this with your children, your account of what is working and what is not is the most useful thing we receive.
